Third Eye Cephalopod
4.5" x 4.5" Acrylic on wood panel.
This will be also be part of the Light Years exhibition in 2010 at Brunswick Street Gallery.

Today I picked up ANGEL from the framers and it looks terrific. Had a huge amount of difficulty trying to pick something for this as the painting is so intense that a plain frame was too simple and elegant frames were competing with the artwork however I used an inner gold frame to give the elegant frame a boundary which has worked really well.
This was one of two panels that I collaborated on with Chor Boogie from San Francisco in the States, he was out as a featured artist for 2008's Melbourne Stencil Festival. I did the backgrounds and detail and he painted his famous boogie bird into the scene. He kept one and I kept one for my private collection. Pretty cool!

This is a triptych I am working on for the upcoming Melbourne Stencil Festival. This intricate piece will display in colour the opposites of the sun (masculine) and moon (feminine), their connection to each other and represents the love between man and woman. The painting will be on show and for sale at the Melbourne Stencil Festival which opens on the 25th September 6pm, 117 Vere Street, Abbortsford, Victoria.
